We are happy and proud to welcome Ava Cramp to the team as our Junior Marketing Associate. Ava is from Columbus, Ohio in the United States, but she moved to Denmark last year to play professional volleyball. Since then, she has begun a Masters program at Copenhagen Business School in Brand and Communications Management. She is not currently playing volleyball due to an injury, but she now has time to pursue her other interests and focus on school and Qvest.
“Of course it makes me sad that I can’t currently play the sport I love, but I have found another team here at Qvest, and I’m honored to be a member. One thing I love about sports is the closeness and the bond you feel to the players on your team, and a similar feeling can be said of start-ups. The passion and drive towards something bigger is just as evident in athletics as it is within the Qvest office”
Ava has held various marketing positions, including an internship at GE Lighting while obtaining her bachelor’s degree. She studied Marketing and Management at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, while also playing Division I volleyball. Ava is excited to work for Qvest where she can utilize her past work experience and also be granted the opportunity to learn so much more.
“What excites me about Qvest is the tangibility of its utility to organizations. Customers are finding real results and solving real problems that they didn’t have a way of solving before. It is exciting, it is innovative, and it is making a difference. To be able to share those stories and get other organizations excited about using Qvest, we can grow this company and help businesses all across the world.”
Ava is still helping out with her volleyball team, Holte IF Volleyliga Damer (shameless plug, she will admit), and she encourages you to check them out. She is also attending Danish school but begs you not to test her on her abilities… this language is not as “nemt” as she had hoped.
